Overview
Conducting benchmarking on ECL numbers of banks in the UK, working on engagements if I'm assigned to one, helping out the team with whatever task they need help with by reaching out to them
Skills
Lots of soft skills, coding, and lots of knowledge about the credit industry
Responsibilities
Not really. Credit Risk is a very specialised industry where you need a lot of experience to get started with so we were not assigned to a lot of engagements compared to the other placements on different teams.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance from various team members and my line manager. Everyone on the team was extremely nice and helpful.
Culture
Very relaxed and leaves a lot of things up to you. Available to work from home whenever and just a very friendly and relaxed environment
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a lot and made a lot of friends. At some points I could have used more work to do however overall it was a great experience.
