Overview
Each day was different, I took part in client meetings discussing new case law and ways in which we can efficiently solve problems. I also had a chance to get involved in lots of technical work which was being submitted to the client.
Skills
I learned a plethora of skills ranging from networking and public speaking all the way to technical skills and analysis of complex pieces of work.
Business Insight
We had access to all different areas of the company not just the chosen line and the team were open about potential roles and how the industry works, giving us full insight as to how it all operates.
Culture
There was a strong work life balance culture, allowing working from home but also office events and socials, creating a great atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the vacation scheme and would definitely recommend it to anyone pursuing a graduate role or knowledge within the financial and actuarial industry.
