Overview
Basic audit testing and carrying out audit procedures. Mainly working in excel or using word to write memos.
Skills
I have learnt basic accounting skills, having never done this before. I have also developed my interpersonal skills and client based skill such as building rapport.
Responsibilities
I was given quite a lot of responsibility. I was given large amounts of testing to be in charge of as well as leading many client calls by myself.
Support & Guidance
I received a large amount of support from all my colleagues and they were always happy to help with any issues I had.
Culture
Everyone was extremely friendly and was always happy to chat and talk about things.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed working for Deloitte due to the caring and fun work team. I wasn’t a massive fan of the work I was doing but the team helped me to stay motivated and keep working.
Yes
Just be yourself and don’t overthink things. They prefer it if you are honest and just act how you would around the office.
