Overview
On a daily basis, I worked with skilled senior developers on finishing tickets.
Skills
I have enhanced my technical skills and also learnt a lot about the corporate world.
Responsibilities
At first not, but when I actively asked for more responsibility, I was given it. Generally placement students are encouraged to take on responsibilities outside of their day to day work as well and contribute to life at the firm.
Support & Guidance
There was a good amount of help from all sides. Pretty much anyone you talk to will either help you or point you in the right direction. There is also a single person dedicated to your development.
Culture
That really depends on the department. Deloitte Digital seems like a startup on first glance (related clothes, sofas, beanbags, goodies, ...) but on the inside most people have a very corporate mindset.

Be proactive and don't worry if you don't have the necessary hard skills. Reach out to people on LinkedIn working in similar jobs and have a chat with them before the interview. This helps to better understand what the company is like, what your day to day might look like and if you would enjoy working at Deloitte.
