The Role
Learnt so many new things
I was made to feel very welcome straight away
Management are very pro-graduates and recruiting them from interns.
Was given a lot to do, but that made long working hours fly by
Not an awful lot can be done in this division without being FSA qualified
Definitely become more assertive since the placement
The Company
Work hard play hard a definite culture at DB
Brilliant
I think they got this just right. Being on the trading floor was much more important than classroom training, which was kept to the bare minimum
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Start very soon after final exams
The Culture
Yes aided by facebook!
Central London was never going to be cheap, was it?
Very different to Uni, but in a good way
Yes, Corporate Social Responsibility day as well as general social life
