Overview
Weekly experiments aiming to improve an assay for detecting genotoxic compounds. Day to day involved cell culture, experimental planning and compiling results. Monthly presentations of progress to team.
Skills
Mammalian cell culture techniques of multiple cell lines, sterile lab techniques, R studio and python courses undertaken, lots of practical lab skills and soft skills (result analysis, image analysis, presenting)

Lots of support, from supervisor and whole team and other individuals (such as lab staff, those in other teams).
