Overview
Gained a deep insight and multiple different industries at Accenture. Completed workshops including building a personal brand, excel training and how to develop skills to be a consultant. After a week of training we were given a group project based in one of three different industries. This then lead to a final presentation. We also spent a lot of time networking with a wide range of people from all different industries, which gave opportunity to get involved in different areas of the company including different social networks
Skills
I was able to build the skill of building a personal brand and using it as a key tool to further my career. We also built skills in design thinking and innovation. Due to the group project we were able to develop team working skills for both in-office and hybrid working. We were also able to build project management skills as we had to develop our own timelines for the project. We also developed presentation skills.
Business Insight
Very exciting as Accenture had a wide range of potential roles available. These were uncovered through an extensive use of networking. The people working there were also very open to sharing how to access different types of roles.
Culture
The cultural was very open and inviting, everyone was available for and happy to have a quick chat with the interns regardless of their position. Colleagues were also very transparent and honest about their experience of which most were good.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed being able to get involved with the company. Doing the project was a lot of fun as it really gave you a sense of responsibility and ownership.
