The Role
I very much enjoyed my placement.
I feel resonably valued, however sometimes i was treated with a bit less respect
I was given lots of support
I was always very busy, there was never nothing to do
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility, but not too much to feel overwhelmed
The training in organic chemistry was very useful.
The Company
The atmosphere was very relaxed.
GSK organised the placement very well however the agency used to employ placement students was generally disorganised and not very helpful
GSK invested time and money in training me
Sports and Social Club
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
future employment is appealing however there are hardly any jobs going at the moment
The Culture
with lots of IP students the social scene is very good
The cost is higher than some places but not as expensive as london etc.
nightlife was very bad.. but london is close so that makes up for it.
not linked to work but there is plenty to do in the area
