Overview
The summer internship was highly valuable in providing insight into the work and culture at DLA Piper. On a day-to-day basis, I completed legal research tasks, due diligence tasks, attended court, and engaged in other tasks of a typical trainee solicitor.
Skills
Despite being a non-law student, I developed my legal research skills throughout the internship. I also developed my networking skills in the first week of the summer internship.

The summer internship centred around the role of a trainee solicitor.
Culture
The company culture was friendly and welcoming throughout the internship. I felt challenged but also supported in my role.
