The Role
People were all great to work with. Immediately felt welcome.
Very grateful for any job that I did for them. A couple did not take the time to even speak.
My grad mentor was very helpful. Not too much support needed as have worked here before and familiar with systems.
Some days very busy - some days no work at all regardless of requests sent for more to do.
Some jobs included retrieving payment for important accounts but other jobs were basic data input.
Gaining knowledge of service charges allows me to be mindful of costs during valuation work.
The Company
Very friendly atmosphere with an ethos of hard work.
Very well organised. Grads could have been more prepared.
Training came in terms of hands on experience. IT courses ran throughout the month but I was not made aware of these.
Company Parties/Events
This has been my return visit after an invitation following the Easter placement. I feel I have worked well and developed good relationships with my team. Prospects of future employment here feel promising which is motivating. Time will tell if anything is to materialise.
The Culture
We all went for a meal early on in the placement (organised by ourselves) and therefore broke the ice early. I personally felt like we developed friendship for the future over the month.
City and West-End offices.... Never going to be cheap. I managed to live relatively cheaply with a friend (£100p/w) but drinks and food are not student prices to say the least!
Central London - Take your pick
Always things on in London. I managed to play hockey for the Savills team but had to ask after over hearing a conversation.
