The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement, working as part of a team, with the correct balance of responsibility and fun.
The branches all get on well and in my branch I have made some great friends for life. They have really helped me to gain experience and gather valuable skills that I can carry with me for my career.
I could not have asked for more support during my placement. Responsibility, guidence and fun have been mixed together by the management to make the placement both fun and rewarding.
I was working in a branch that deals heavily with corporate accounts therefore we were always busy. However, it has helped me gain transferable skills which I will carry forward in my business career.
Each employee is given a large amount of responsibility on a daily basis which can help you to work towards targets, rewards and bonuses. There is always a lot of support even though each employee has a large amount of reponsibility, from running the daily car fleet to dealing with customers.
I have developed many transferable skills which I can carry with me for my business career in the future. I have learned a lot about myself, how I deal with many situations and customers. Time management and organisational skills have been crutial for this placement and these skills will stay for life.
The Company
The atmosphere was brilliant in the office. I have made friends for life and thoroughly enjoyed going to work every day.
Once I had applied online the rest of the application process was easy. The communication was great.
The company has a training folder which we as individuals have to organise and monitor ourselves. However, there are regular training sessions at head office and the management always have a track on how employees are progressing. They are always there for help when you need them.

Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
As the progression is quick, I would consider taking up the offer to come back after my degree.
The Culture
We always go out for socials and I had a lot of interaction with other placement students who I am now good friends with.
I live at home so I did not have any expenses.
The Bristol nightlife is brilliant.
I have volunteered for a lot of activities during work and after work. For example, I delivered Christmas presents to local schools and orphanages over the Chrismas period.
