Overview
Collaborated with sales, trading, and legal functions to structure bespoke financing solutions for clients. The day-to-day involved researching, digesting legal contracts and laws, modelling, and meeting clients and the functions the team worked with.
Skills
Yes. I learnt how to research more efficiently, find the most important points in a contract, and modelling skills. I also got better at asking questions.
Responsibilities
Yes. Through my projects, I originated a proposal for potential clients. The projects are going to be used by the team and not just created for the sake of the summer internship.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance. Whenever I was unsure, I asked the team for help and they gave me useful advice. They were also interested in my development and gave me actionable feedback.
Culture
I felt that the company cared about their employees and employees' growth. The people wanted to help each other and were happy that I reached out to speak to them.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my internship and felt that it was a memorable experience in which I learned a lot. I am also happy to have met the people and learn from them.
Yes
Be curious and learn about the division and role you are applying for. It is a bonus if you can also learn about the greater function of the bank and its different divisions.
