    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • In my routine I would begin with updating a daily riddle outside of my cabin which encouraged conversations amongst the different teams working here. In addition I would have daily challenges, such as a darts challenge in which individuals had the chance to win free lunch tokens for the highest score. During my day, I would also visit the individual's working, wearing my correct PPE, I was allowed to go into appropriate work stations and speak to individuals also.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • With this placement I was able to grow my confidence in speaking to people daily and being a source of support for all who needed it. It has allowed me to consider mental health awareness and the importance of a roles like in other industries. It has been an incredible experience, allowing me to learn new skills and expanding existing ones too. Communication, time-management, leadership and innovating new ideas are some examples of this.
