Overview
I worked within the operations risk team assisting with day to day tasks that involved a mix of data collection and presenting the relevant data in a clear and concise way
Skills
I have developed skills in networking and organisation. I gained commercial awareness in a way I had not experienced before and grew in confidence over the year.
Responsibilities
I was given enough responsibility that i had regular tasks and was doing pieces of work for people but had a close team to support me and share the responsibility with.
Support & Guidance
The support and guidance was extremely valuable in making the placement year a comfortable place for me to thrive.
Culture
The people I met within the company were all extremely welcoming and supportive. The culture was one where everyone shared their knowledge freely and no one is afraid to ask for help.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and would definitely recommend network rail as an employer.
