Overview
I helped my manager doing a monthly report for EV tyres and also supported brand managers with their project for their consumers.
Skills
I did learn how to use Microsoft Excel and be able to do it on my own. I did developed my writing skills and communication skills because I used these 2 skills everyday at work and it help me improved my English as well.
Responsibilities
I was given much responsibility during my placement/internship because I had to note down what I did during my placement ready for final year and also need to do the work that was set from my line manager.
Support & Guidance
I had full support from people in the Marketing team at Michelin, they always happy to help and give advice when I had any problems whether it is work related or not. The placement tutor also support me well and give good guidance for all the placement tasks for me to understand it clear.
Culture
It was very warm welcome and everyone are very friendly and kind to me. I liked the company culture as they always came together to enjoyed snacks & drinks during festive season like (Halloween, Christmas, Pride month etc.).
Your Impressions
I enjoyed every work that my line manager set to me especially a project like help organise Le Mans event, create new campaign to be use at big events (Michelin Inflation Station).
Yes
If you have an interest on cars, bicycle / motor bike, trucks & buses or agriculture. You will love working at Michelin because they working closely with these transport and it was very fun to be part of their Marketing team as well because everyone are very kind and friendly.
