Overview
Helping compound bank statements to help the financial team make sure the accounts are in check, helping with payroll tasks and making sure all employees are paid each week/month. Lots of creating spreadsheets for upper management to understand what is happening in the finance department.
Skills
Highly developed my excell skills as well my presentation skills. My team communication also improved.
Responsibilities
Yes, a fair amount of responsibility was placed on me from early in the placement.
Support & Guidance
Not too much alot of the time work was explained once and then I was expecting to get on with he work with minimal guidance.
Culture
The culture was very work focused, you needed to be working at all times, if not it would be looked down on.
Your Impressions
It was not enjoyable and quite stressful as a placement student.
