Overview
Visit each child at their home and get to know them initially with a parent present, find a common ground and asses what level of support is required Speak to the child's support worker and parent to find where the child would like to go/do

Yes, having to sign off health and safety for myself and the child when taking them on outings

Lots- resources for autism provided your own placement supervisor, everyone was so friendly and open, especially since I'd never worked in an environment like this before, involving SEND children and young adults

Very open and inviting, relaxed but very helpful and supportive
