Overview
The main role was managing all social media platforms, updating and informing the community of what we do. Creating leaflets and posters to put throughout the building. Attending recruitment fairs to bring in more volunteers across all of our services.
Skills
i improved my time management and organisation skills as i had to take more control over reaching deadlines. I was able to apply the theoretical knowledge from my studies into real situations.
Responsibilities
Yes i was given full responsibility of managing my own workload and was given multiple projects to handle within my first few weeks.
Support & Guidance
I recieved a lot of support as if i ever had any questions or was struggling, there was always someone to help me
Culture
A very positive culture as the work revolves around helping the less fortunate in the community
