Overview
Everyday was different. In the first week there was a lot of on boarding sessions to introduce us to different industries with Accenture and what they do. We learnt core consulting skills such as presenting, analysing data, making PowerPoints. All of which led up to the final presentation day where we showcased our solution to business problem to senior members of the company and to our fellow peers.
Skills
I definitely improved my PowerPoint skills whilst at Accenture. Was introduced the QPT feature which was a really useful tool to ensure everything on the slide was aligned.
Business Insight
Overwhelming at first as Accenture is a very large company it can seem a little difficult to figure out where you might fit in. But after some spotlight sessions on particular industries and some networking, I’ve found roles and industries I’m interested in learning more about and perhaps joining in the future.
Culture
Diversity and Inclusion is definitely a key defining feature at Accenture. They are an exemplary company that is working to boost diversity within corporate spaces, and it made a huge impact on my experience as I truly felt welcomed and as though I could belong at a place like this. Accenture’s culture and general atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Your Impressions
It is by far the best insight experience I’ve been a part of. A genuine joy every single day I looked forward to seeing my peers and working together with equally motivated people. It was a 10/10 experience, would recommend!!
Yes
First and foremost, research the company well and see if you align with the company culture and values. Then when it comes to the application, be yourself! No one can be you like you can and that is your superpower. Your individuality is what will impress people and make you standout so be creative.
