Overview
Strategic analysis: analysing the long-term interactions between demand and capacity of general practices. Research and compiling a literature review on the current state of GP access. Data analysis and visualisation, summary statistics and involved myself in ministerial discussions monitoring the progress of this target. Cluster analysis on patient satisfaction data. This analysis was presented to the Health Secretary of State (SoS). Working on briefing ministers following publication of new data- Every month, I worked on the data submission of General Practice Appointment Data. This is data on appointments that is published every month by NHS is published. The submissions I do get sent to the health ministers. As well as contributing to the team’s objectives through strategic analysis I had the responsibility to also respond to various queries from the media, parliament and policy colleagues relating to GP appointment data.
