Overview
As a recruitment consultant, I would start my day by creating new adverts for jobs and posting them on the relevant job boards. Once completed, I would then start to review the CV applications which I received overnight and pick out the candidates I believe would match the job role, I would then call / email the candidates to register my interest and book in an interview. The afternoon would mainly consist of running through the compliance for each candidate that had been successful in the interview process, so I would be collecting documents etc for them to pass.

Responsibilities
In many cases, the goal of an internship is to provide a learning experience while contributing to the company's work. Therefore, while you might not be given as much responsibility as a full-time employee, you should expect to have tasks and projects that contribute to the organization in a meaningful way. It's essential to have open communication with your supervisor and express your interest in taking on more responsibility if you feel capable and comfortable doing so. This can often lead to opportunities to take on more challenging tasks during your internship.
Support & Guidance
Receiving support and guidance is essential for personal and professional growth. It provides a solid foundation for learning, problem-solving, and achieving one's goals. Whether in a professional context, such as a mentorship program or during a personal journey, having a network of individuals who offer advice, encouragement, and expertise can be a tremendous asset. Support and guidance not only help individuals navigate challenges and make informed decisions but also foster a sense of belonging and empowerment. It's a reminder that we don't have to go through life's trials and triumphs alone, and there is always an opportunity to learn, evolve, and thrive with the assistance and wisdom of others.
Culture
I feel like Randstad had a good company culture, some points to follow below: Clear Values and Mission: A strong company culture starts with a clearly defined set of values and a mission statement that guides the organization's purpose and goals. Employees should understand and resonate with these core principles. Open Communication: An open and transparent communication environment promotes trust and collaboration. Employees should feel comfortable sharing their ideas, concerns, and feedback, and management should actively listen and respond. Respect and Inclusion: A culture of respect values diversity and inclusion. It promotes a workplace where people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities are treated with fairness and respect. Strong Leadership: Effective leaders set the tone for the organization's culture. They lead by example, support their teams, and inspire others to achieve their best. Employee Development: A good company culture invests in the growth and development of its employees. This includes providing opportunities for training, advancement, and skill-building.
