The Role
To begin with it was a struggle as I had never worked a full time job before or lived away from home. The people here were excellent and before I new it I was a fully fledged member of the team and having an excellent time!
I struggled to settle in at first with being away from home for the first time but my team members were excellent and I now consider them very close friends.
I had bi-weekly meetings with my manager where I discussed and problems. This was an excellent support system.
I never had a day where I had nothing to do.
I was given the right amount of repsonsibility. I had some instruments to look after on top of doing my daily work.
I feel the skills I have learned will benifet me greatly in my final year. The lab skills will be excellent for final year as will the time management skills.
The Company
It was a very fun office. Never a dull moment!
The only thing missing was an ice breaker session with all the students
I recieved training where necessary.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would be very interested in coming back to work here.
The Culture
The social scene was excellent. Some students set up a facebook page where we all became friends.
Excellent.
Better than uni!
I joined a few clubs while I was here.
