Skills
- Strengthened communication and teamwork skills. - Better understand the importance of HR to an organisation’s overall efficiency and its impact on employees. - Improved my excel skills
Responsibilities
I was given relatively important tasks such as marking candidate answers during an interview which would’ve impacted whether they would’ve been given the role or not. It was also my responsibility to send out any acceptances/ rejections and feedback
Support & Guidance
I was looked after very well by my supervisors and made me feel comfortable in asking any questions/ queries I had. I was given the opportunity to venture out within the organisation and speak with employees I wanted to learn from I.e. speaking with the head of scientific communication to gather what it’s like
Culture
- relaxed and comfortable - could chat with anybody and feel welcomed. - attire was comfortable and up to your tastes as long as it was appropriate - lots of social stuff outside of work to get to know colleagues
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much. It introduced to a new field within science as well as a new area within business.
