Overview
It involved group activities and speaker sessions, with opportunities to network and ask questions. Some of the activities were focused on teaching us more about the firm and its culture whilst others, gave us an opportunity to practice the everyday skills used by employees of the firm.
Skills
Yes - I have learnt networking skills and developed my skills in the synthesis of information, and presenting.
Business Insight
It was very helpful to learn directly from people all around the firm. I liked how they provided a range of people, with differing seniority levels and career paths so that everyone's personal experiences would be catered for.
Culture
It was a very jovial and non-hierarchical atmosphere. There was a visible thirst for knowledge, growth and client satisfaction.
Your Impressions
I had a great time during this scheme. All the activities were mentally stimulating and the opportunity to spend time with other interns in the hotel and the networking event was a thoughtful touch.
