The Role
It's been a great 12 months; the company has given me a job with lots of responsibility and the experience I have gained is incredible. Due to the large scheme, I have made lots of friends and enjoyed the social life.
I supported my team as well as aiding their work. Most employees are very friendly and approachable. They have given me advice throughout the year.
I have had weekly sessions with my mananger to discuss my work and issues. This has been very useful to make sure I am achieving my objectives for the year.
I have been given lost of projects during my year which has meant that I have often had extended hours. The experience I have gained is invaluable so I wouldn't see this as a negative; I would prefer to be busy than quiet.
Lots of responsibilty; I have had to facilitate many events and projects. I was suprised at how much responsibility I have been given.
I have developed lots of skills that will be transferrable for Graduate schemes. Due to the responsibilty I have been given this has all been through job experiences.
The Company
Everybody was supportive in the office but had a lot of work to do which was the main priority. Birthdays and other ocassions were celebrated; there was always lots of cake!
We've had lots of support from housing to mentoring schemes and there is a reliable contact point.
We have all had real jobs with real responsibilities and consequently the exposure we have receievd has definitely developed our skill sets.

There is a graduate intake but it is quite small compared to the undergraduate scheme. I think the undergraduate has given me the skills I need to secure a graduate job.
The Culture
80 undergraduates= a great social life! I live with undergraduates on the scheme and have enjoyed many day trips and nights out with them all. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Luton is very cheap but is close to London. So if want to spend more money for more up market activities there is always the option.
Luton isn't well known for the party life but as there are so many undergrads you can enjoy the cheesy music with a huge crowd of friends- all for pennies!
Undergrads usually involved football or nights out so there was always things to do.
