Overview
Three-day programme consisting of presentations from product and sector teams, presentations from senior leadership, 1-on-1 mentoring from an 'analyst buddy', technical skills training and a group project. Group project involved working towards a 30-minute presentation and Q&A based on an M&A case study.
Skills
Presenting/pitching skills. Technical skills, specifically valuation, M&A. Teamwork through group project. Technical knowledge about investment banking/financial advisory.
Business Insight
Highly informative. Will guide my decisions around whether to apply for roles in the industry as a whole, specifically at Lazard and also which product/sector teams to apply for.
Culture
Very friendly and welcoming. The analysts were very helpful and willing to offer their help and advice, especially my 'analyst buddy'.
