Overview
I was assigned a buddy within the firm, and I spent several hours with him throughout the programme. I was able to shadow him for a couple of hours, seeing what an analyst actually does during the day. I also listened to many talks about Lazard's divisions, which all had extensive Q&A sessions. We also spent a significant amount of time on our group project, which was a presentation on a proposed divestiture.

Presentation skills, Powerpoint, many interpersonal skills such as networking.
Business Insight
It was so insightful - I've been interested in investment banking for years, but I realised during the spring that I never really fully understood it. But after this programme, i feel like i have a genuine understanding of the analyst role throughout the different divisions, and it really excites me.
Culture
Amazing. They really put the time in to organise the event, and every person working there is so open to questions.
