Overview
Given an overview of DLA from various practice groups, with options for questions following every session. Also engaged in a mock litigation workshop and an evening social event which allowed me to network with other attendees. The second day involved more discussions focusing on the firm’s DEI work, personal branding and also the option to network with current trainees.
Skills
It was very helpful in outlining the necessary skills for a solicitor and how to display these during the application process.
Business Insight
It was very useful in explaining how each practice group works within the firm, and the variety of seats that are available to trainees.
Culture
A very friendly and engaging atmosphere that made me very excited for applying to DLA in the future
