Introduction to Amazon and its core values, hackathon, panel with software developers describing their journey and experience at Amazon with live Q&A, description of the internship interview process and tips
Skills
It was a good opportunity to practise coding skills, and to learn about Amazon. I also learnt a lot about the internship application process and the panellists mentioned a lot of useful tips.
Business Insight
It was interesting to hear from the panellists, though maybe there could have been a wider range of experience. For example, including someone who has been at Amazon long-term vs someone who is a new graduate employee.
Culture
It seemed friendly and there are a lot of positive values (the leadership principles) that the company tries to embody
