Overview
Learnt much about the core values of the company along with many different paths into a software engineering role. There was also a small hackathon session that was undertaken on Hackerrank which was very fun and helpful to develop my programming skills.
Skills
The Hackathon session in the insight event helped to build on my programming skills.
Business Insight
The Q and A panel were very descriptive about their journey into their roles at Amazon and shared good examples on the core values that they focus on and use in their day-to-day life. More insight into the hiring process and getting tips for the interviews encouraged me to apply.
Culture
The company culture seemed positve and welcoming. One of their core values is to be able to make an environment where everyone is heard and has the ability to keep learning on the job which gave a very good impression.
