Overview
As a treasury analyst, sitting within the EME treasury team I am involved with the cash management of the Europe/Middle East region. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the funding of bank accounts, placing investments, supporting other finance functions and more. The role also involves updating internal controls records and ensuring the adherence to financial regulations.
Skills
Within my time at Cummins, I have developed a range of both personal and professional skills. These include, time management skills, data analysis, interpersonal communication and much more.
Responsibilities
I was given a range of opportunities to take the lead on certain projects. My manager was great at giving me the freedom to take on projects with as much or as little help from them as I felt comfortable having.
Support & Guidance
I received a great amount of guidance during my time at Cummins. This came from both my managers as well as other colleagues.
Culture
The company culture is well aligned with my own personal values. It is a culture that allows you to be your own individual self and encourages you to be the best you can.
Your Impressions
I have had a great time on my placement. Introspectively, seeing my own personal growth that I have undergone during such a short time really encourages me that I can have a great career, whether that is at Cummins or not.
Yes
Cummins place a large value on your eagerness to go beyond your job role and have an appetite for learning. Demonstrate that their core values are aligned with yours and that the opportunity to work there will be greatly beneficial for your career.
