Overview
I must ensure the condition of each vehicle is safe before going on rent and also must make sure each customer is comfortable in the car that they have selected. I also tend to the desk in the terminal where I will make sure the interaction of renting a car from us goes smoothly and that they are completely satisfied with their rental experience. I also make sure that the cars that return from rent are in a good enough condition to rent again.
Skills
I have learnt many new skills while working in Enterprise. One of these is how to perform high quality customer service and how to make sure every customer is happy with their experience and that all customers are treated with respect. I have also improved my organization skills. When it gets busy, I must ensure that the desk is kept tidy and and keep a cool head and also not get overwhelmed with everything going on.
Responsibilities
Once I was able to handle the basics of my role, and was able to confidently perform my daily duties, I as given many new responsibilities. One of these includes closing the terminal desk on my own and ensuring that all cars are ready to rent for the next morning. I would also make sure that the desk space is in a tidy manner. I am now also starting to train in newer employees and making sure that they are comfortable with their new role.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance during my work placement so far. The management within Enterprise is very welcoming and have helped me hugely in my development into the role so far. All assistant managers, branch managers, and area manager were extremely helpful with my training and induction into the role.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere is very positive and open minded. If there are any ideas that any staff have about improvements or changes, they are happily to listen in on any way to make the workplace a better environment to work in than it already is.

So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed my work placement as I have learnt many new skills and gained much more knowledge in this industry.
Yes
I would recommend people to be themselves while applying to Enterprise and to also ask plenty of questions as all the staff are very helpful and ready to answer any question you may have.
