Overview
It was a four-day insight where we learned more about the different career paths covered by Global Advisory at R&C. We also had an M&A group project. The other sessions included work shadowing, charity work, and assessment center preparation.
Skills
The group project was very useful to prepare for the case study, I learned about financing, synergies and valuation.
Business Insight
There were so many people who came to present their jobs, and they were all very open to answer our questions. Plus, we got assigned a buddy to whom we could ask any questions and have several talks during the week.
Culture
The culture was very nice and respectful. It’s a family owned business and you can feel it.
Your Impressions
I loved it; everyone was so smart and eager to share. Plus, it was all women, so it felt like a small summer camp. I learned so much about different careers and the day-to-day basis.
Yes
Know the culture, make a standard cv for IB, have commercial awareness. As far as technical you just need to be able to explain what’s M&A and why do you want to do it.
