Overview
It was a great week! I learnt about four divisions within Nomura: Risk, Technology, Investment Banking and Global Markets. The first day was an introduction to the firm and the operations of an investment bank. Following that, we delved deeper into the functions of the four divisions
Skills
Yes the programming worked on and developed a lot of my prior knowledge and skills. For example, there was a lot of team working and networking opprotunities.
Business Insight
It was good. There was a specific sessions that delved into this. Additionally, every speaker and employee we spoke to explained their process into entering the firm.
Culture
The company had a great culture. Everyone was supper friendly!
