  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • Engaged in real work for three days alongside a trainer in a specific department. Prepared a group presentation which is assessed on the final day. Attended presentations as well everyday to gain an insight into the firm. Also, social events and networking were prominent on most evenings.

    • Yes, the winter vacation scheme enhanced my ability to organise as prioritising multiple tasks was essential to succeeding in the work. Also, it developed my commercial awareness and highlighted how important commercial considerations are in all the matters I worked on.

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • The atmosphere was so welcoming and this put any nerves at ease immediately. The company culture was professional and friendly which meant it was easy to settle in and get stuck in to the work.
