Overview
We were placed in a different practice area of the firm and worked with our Principal to learn more about the seat area and the firm more generally. We had lots of interesting talks and tasks that gave us an insight into the firm.
Skills
Developing skills including team work, time management, analysis and proof-reading.
Business Insight
It was incredibly insightful with many opportunities to ask questions to further our understanding. We had a range of talks about different practice areas and specific talks about the firm itself and how it operates on a global level.
Culture
The culture was really inclusive, friendly and exciting. Everyone was open and friendly with coffee chats a regular occurrence. The atmosphere was great with exciting work.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it and found it engaging and exciting. The range of talks, tasks and social events meant that there were opportunities to meet a range of people and experience the day-to-day work of being a trainee.
Yes
It is a great opportunity to spend two weeks at a global, full service commercial law firm. I think it is good to research the firm and to think about why you want to do law.
