Overview
Each of the insight days were fairly different. The first insight day was full of group exercises and networking sessions. The second day was full of networking opportunities and the shadowing a KPMG employee. Then the final day was an assessment centre that was made up of a group exercises and a 1-on-1 interview. Across the first 2 days we were also given prep for the assessment centre where we were taught KPMG's values and what to expect.
Skills
The insight programme did not impact my skills but gave me a better insight into KPMG.
Business Insight
We were given a lot of opportunities to speak with employees from our chosen programme both senior and junior. Speaking to the employees gave me a great insight into what to expect the company and a bit more into the role.
Culture
The company culture and general atmosphere was very relaxed. Everyone was kind and respectful. The dress code was smart casual and the employees looked fairly happy.
Your Impressions
The insight programme was very enjoyable but the food options could have been better.
Yes
Learn the company values and what you'll be doing in the role and you should be fine.
