I would help prepare presentations for change boards, manage communications for my team with other teams to allow detailed design work to take place.
Skills
Yes I learned a lot about practical engineering, far more than I learned at University.
Responsibilities
A steadily increasing amount as I became more competent.
Support & Guidance
A fantastic amount
Culture
Fantastic, definitely the biggest positive of the internship, I was lucky enough to go to events with other teams too and everyone I met was great.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a fantastic amount and was delighted to join the company on a permanent basis a year later.
Yes
Be aware that the onboarding process can be a bit rough and feel disorganised, once you're past that and in to your team it's worth it.
