Overview
Looking at improvements coming into the team and engaging stakeholders to get list of requirements and then support the delivery of the item into live

Responsibilities
Due to a reorg when I joined there wasn't much work to be allocated in the team, however have had some high priority items handed to me and with time led my own stakeholder calls without support and was trusted to lead my own improvements but did have to ask for more work often
Support & Guidance
Interns do have a good support network from future careers and the other interns and grads in the company, tech interns also have a monthly meeting to check how they're doing but nothing really comes out of this if you do have any feedback or complaints (I felt) just more of a chance to vent. You have a lot of people you can feedback complaints to however it did feel like nothing changes if you do say you have issues
Culture
The company culture definitely one of the best parts of the placement with fairly regular socials and outings with my team. Also being part of such a big company you do get certain perks like o2 priority and competitions
Your Impressions
I have overall enjoyed it
Yes
You would get more development opportunities working for a smaller company and be given more responsibility, however big orgs will have more opportunities to progress and other perks
