Overview
I review and consolidate both capex and opex spend/costs. This way ensuring we are meeting targets, budgets and forecasts throughout the year on a monthly basis.
Skills
I've learnt new technical skills e.g. Essbase, Oracle and Advanced Excel. Also, some soft skills I've learnt include stake holder management, presentation and organisation.
Responsibilities
I was definitely given a lot of responsibility, however, you can be in control of how much you receive.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support including a line manager, head of year, head of department, director and future careers committee. Not to mention a cohort of 45 finance interns and graduates.
Culture
The company culture is very welcoming of all backgrounds and personalities. They strive for culture fits when hiring which is demonstrable through the consistency of smoothly operating teams.
