Overview
On a day to day basis, you get involved with checking in customers, admin, and driving. This includes lots of customer service, sales and teamwork.
Skills
I have learnt so much. My management skills including my organisation has improved massively. I’ve become more confident and learnt how to manage my time more efficiently.
Responsibilities
Yes. I would say a few months in I was expected to be responsible for a lot of my day to day work. However I was still provided all the help if I needed it
Support & Guidance
Lots. Throughout my year, I had a mentor meeting once a month having a catch up with where I was up too. I always had a monthly catchup with my branch manager regarding my wellbeing and if I needed any help or if I was struggling on anything.
Culture
The culture is amazing. The team you work with are so welcoming and you defiantly build a great friendship.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship from start to finish. It has taught me so much and I’ve realised how valuable it has been.
Yes
Be confident and ask questions. I found the biggest thing is don’t be afraid if you don’t get something. Even at the end of your internship you will learn new things.
