Overview
On a day to day basis, my role involves picking Pantone colours, drawing prints for trends and conducting research into customers with websites like WGSN and Fashion Snoops.
Skills
Learned how to use the Adobe suite programs better (e.g. making seamless patterns, understanding resolution). Also, developed the skill of learning about different customers
Responsibilities
Given responsibility in developing Gen Z trends, driving the creative direction for that. Also, designing prints from inspirations for sample development. Lastly, matching colours and making sure they are correct for the fabrications needed.
Support & Guidance
Definitely a lot, Primark was amazing at supporting our move and integration here. Very happy to have gotten the help I really needed.
Culture
Inspiring and fun. I love that people have fun but also take their role seriously. everyone is very friendly and a pleasure to work with.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed for what it was. Personally, I realised it wasn't for me, however, that already is a very valuable lesson. It is an amazing place to work at and I'm glad I chose it

Don't be afraid to share your blue sky ideas and showcase your personality. It's more about who you are and how you learn rather than your existing knowledge
