Overview
I would work in the lab most days helping the technicians to put together testing jigs, primarily the cylindrical I had been assigned to. Otherwise I would be at my desk analysing data and exporting this data into excel to make graphs. I would meet with my manager every two weeks and talk through what my tasks to focus on would be for the following two weeks.
Skills
I have learnt several new skills, be that new software's like origin, BAA and Microsoft Visio, as well as developing my teamwork ability, organization and creativity.
Responsibilities
I was given mostly free reign to carry out my tasks as I saw fit, with my manager providing feedback to my projects and given guidance as needed while allowing me to figure out things on my own.
Support & Guidance
I was closely supported by my manager and other co-workers, I never felt like I could not ask a question and time was always made to explain things so I was never confused.
Culture
It was a very welcoming work environment with friendly people and lots of support from people no matte if they were in our team or not.
