Responsibilities
Yes, I have had the opportunity to take on a number of cases by myself and attend a couple of in-person immigration checks. I am able to plan my tasks independently and work through them in an order that works for me.
Support & Guidance
Working on a small team, I was able to have direct access to my supervisor when needed and another member of the UK team. I was also able to complete some work for our US team, who also offered me great support and guidance.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere is fantastic. As interns, you have many opportunities and are welcomed from the beginning.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement. I found it extremely useful for my career and it helped me figure out where I would like to take my career in the future. I built a number of skills which I would not have gained as an undergraduate just doing my degree all the way through. I have met many new people who have offered help and guidance when I need it.
Yes
Show you interest in the media and entertainment/creative industry as well as your desire to work in that particular role. Also it is important to show that you are a well-rounded individual with outside interests, bar your academic and career interests.
