Overview
Contract drafting and negotiation, preparation for legal events, legal research and meeting minutes.
Skills
Drafting, presenting and confidence, networking, contract analysis and learnt how to apply legal concepts to real life problems. Research becomes a huge part of your support to the legal function as a whole. The nature of the job means all advice is on an ad-hoc basis, new problems arising daily with varying urgency.
Responsibilities
As the placement went on, the responsibility increased hugely. To make the most out of the experience, it is best to take initiative and make an effort to get involved in as much as possible as this way, it will lead to greater responsibility in more matters.
Support & Guidance
The team were hugely supportive, always happy to answer questions and sit down and talk through feedback.
Culture
Extremely friendly! A super fun environment to work in, everyone enthusiastic about what they do.
