On a day-to-day basis my role involves drafting production contracts, conducting rights analyses and various legal admin tasks. This role requires working closely with the commercial teams such as finance, marketing and production to oversee and support the businesses from a legal perspective.
Skills
I have developed a great understanding of the film industry and how films are acquired, produced, financed and distributed. Moreover, I have learnt how to draft contracts and use rights systems to manage the legal rights of our slate of titles. This role offers a big opportunity to develop your interpersonal and professional skills as you will be interacting with lawyers as well as internal and external commercial stakeholders.
