Overview
Develop products with licensees using an online approval page. Helping the wider team with their developments as well, attending meetings and communicating with licensees and other commercial teams to develop products.
Skills
Developed Photoshop and Illustrator skills, developed soft skills. There is a development programme which helps develop business skills.
Responsibilities
Product development interns get given a lot of responsibility, you get to manage licensees yourself with the help of your manager. You are a key part to the team.
Support & Guidance
Received a lot of support and guidance from both managers, senior manages and through the intern development programme as well.
Culture
Super friendly and helpful, people are always curious of what you do and share what they work on. Everything is very collaborative and wins are celebrated.
Your Impressions
Enjoyed it greatly, I think this is one of the best opportunities for starting your career as there is so much to learn and you are given a lot of responsibility.
Yes
It may be a bit slow in the beginning as the team won't give you as much responsibility as you need to learn the fundamentals, but be willing to learn and be proactive to make as much out of the placement as possible. Once you grasp the basics, you'll get lots of fun projects.
