Overview
The experience is good. I got to shadow employees by joining them in meetings and also seeing how they work. I also got to ask as many questions as I wanted and I saw what the culture is like working at PwC.
Skills
I improved my presentation, communication skills and interpersonal skills
Business Insight
I got a broader understanding of what PwC does and the different departments which I could work in. It was great knowing the potential roles that would be available to me as a student. I was able to understand the recruitment process and what they are looking for in candidates.
Culture
Everyone was friendly and always willing to help. I had chats with recent graduates and they answered all my questions. There is a lot of teamwork which is good and events are put on for employees including those from ethnic minorities.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight. It was an eye opening experience as I learnt a lot of things that I didn’t know before.
Yes
Be yourself. I know everyone says this but be yourself. Also try and do research on the company as this helps a lot. Best of luck!
