Overview
I worked closely with the Audit Team across the 3 days. On day 1, I worked with my mentor in the Birmingham office towards an audit for a client. On day 2, I had the rare opportunity to join my mentor and the team in the Milton Keynes office, who were leading the audit. On day 3, I was back in the Birmingham office, doing team calls with the Milton Keynes office and teams across the world.
Skills
As someone who is completing a non-finance degree, I have learnt a lot about different software and approaches that PwC uses. My buddy was someone who was very helpful in developing my skills.
Business Insight
It was interesting to learn about the business and the different roles and departments.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere was very positive. The Birmingham office especially was very nice and the people were friendly.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the insight days because it was something I had not done before. I learnt a lot about the company.
Yes
I would tell others applying that you don’t have to have extensive sector specific knowledge, and that PwC teaches and supports you in what you need to know.
