Overview
We listen to presentations from existing employees talking about what they do. We were able to ask lots of questions in order to improve our understanding of the industry. We also completed relevant group tasks.
Skills
I have learnt so much about the asset management industry in general and on a more detailed level, specific to Fidelity. I have learnt how to do a stock pitch and analyse different bonds and work out which would be the better investment.
Business Insight
Fidelity were clear on all the different business divisions and what is available to us in the form of Summer Internships and Graduate Programmes.
Culture
I got a great understanding and feel for the warm community that is created at Fidelity and experienced the positive atmosphere created at the office.
Your Impressions
I loved this insight programme, not only as I now am a lot more confident on my industry and technical knowledge, but also really enjoyed the social networking side and being able to speak too existing employees was very insightful and valuable.

For the spring insight, do not worry if you do not have prior industry knowledge. At this stage, they are searching for candidates who are motivated and keen to learn.
